The department is reaching the diverse church audiences under Pioneer Ghana Conference, both within and externally, with an open, responsible, and hope-filled communication program, and through the effective use of contemporary technologies and methods of communication.

Mission Statement

The mission statement of the Communication Department is: Building bridges of hope. The desired effect of the department is to create a favorable image of the church, its mission, life and activities, and witness that many will become followers of the Christ and become members of His church. The Communication Department of the Meridian Ghana Conference dates back to it’s genesis. Now, the department has these basic functions-news and information, public and media relations, and on-line services.

West-Central Ghana Conference is a church administrative unit of the Seventh-day Adventist church in Ghana. The conference operates under Southern Ghana Union Conference of the West-Central Africa Division. It was organized in 2017 and consists of the following territories: central part of Western region of the Republic of Ghana; bounded on the north by Anyafuri, on the northeast by Twifo Nyinasi, on the west by Cote d’Ivoire, on the southeast by Mpohor district, and on the south by Ahanta West district. The conference headquarters is in Tarkwa, Ghana.
